Musical and Amicable- Mozart String Trios and Flute Quartet.

Mozart’s sparkling first flute quartet (K285) was commissioned by amateur flautist Ferdinand de Jean and completed in Mannheim on Christmas day 1777.  His monumental Divertimento for string trio (K563) was composed in Vianna in 1788 with Mozart playing viola for the first performance.  Meanwhile over in England the origonal Musical and Amicable Society was in full swing- a collective who met in the Cherry Street Tavern for practice and recreation.  We take you into that world.

You can Buy Tickets on line ( with a booking fee) At Eventbrite  Or book in advance by sending an email to penny@kingstonchamberconcerts.org

We also take Card payments on the night- but it would be good to reserve your place so we have an idea of who is coming, even if you don’t pay in advance.
